This report is part of a project conducted by the PAE Institute for Education and Development, in collaboration with the Reform Institute for Development (RID) and the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA).
The project included several workshops, such as:
Phase One: A workshop with the parents of students attending private schools. It was held on August 19, 2017, at the Titanic Hotel in Sulaimani. The workshop discussed the issues from the perspectives of the parents.
Phase Two: A workshop with education administrators and the heads of private schools, held on September 14, 2017, at the Titanic Hotel in Sulaimani. Discussions focused on the reasons behind the failure to implement laws and guidelines.
Phase Three: A workshop with representatives of the Ministry of Education, parliament members, and members of the Sulaimani Provincial Council. This workshop took place on October 12, 2017, at the Ramada Hotel in Sulaimani.
In the end, a report was presented regarding the state of private schools.
