The Commission has announced the names of the candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections

On 21/9/2024, the Iraqi High Election Commission announced the approved list of candidates for the sixth round of the Kurdistan Parliament.
The approved list consists of (1191) candidates, including (823) men and (368) women and is divided into four constituencies (Erbil, Duhok, Sulaimani and Halabja).

It is worth mentioning that (1153) candidates for the general seat and (38) candidates for the communities have nominated themselves, in this context (1072) candidates on the list of political parties and (119) people have nominated themselves as independents.
