Today, January 5, 2025, a delegation from the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) visited the Pay Organization.
The delegation consisted of Rafiq Ghafur, Shahla Hafid, Zainab Mustafa, Dr. Sherko Heme Amin, and Ms. Nasrin—members of the KNK Executive Council.
The purpose of this visit was to exchange views and prepare for a broad consultative meeting with political parties, civil society organizations, media outlets, and public figures, aiming to achieve Kurdish unity both inside and outside Kurdistan. It also sought to ensure Kurdish participation in the political process, to evaluate the situation in Syria, and to facilitate the involvement of Kurds in the new Syrian political process.
Dr. Sarawar Abdulrahman, President of the Pay Organization, expressed his satisfaction with the KNK’s stance on Kurdish issues.
Regarding preparations for the consultative congress, Dr. Abdulrahman called for dialogue and the exchange of perspectives, expressing readiness to provide any necessary support to successfully convene this consultative gathering. The main goal is to strengthen and unify the Kurdish voice in the face of national challenges.
